If you look for him at the weekend, you will probably find him immersed in the aromas of malt and hops while he brews his craft beer, or perhaps busy capturing the perfect shot with his camera. But don’t be fooled by his relaxed demeanour: in his spare time, he dons the hat of an information systems designer and developer, transforming himself into a shy expert in IT security and computer forensics. A digital veteran, not to say old, his expertise is not just theoretical. He has spent years ‘on the front line’, digitising business processes and managing complex projects for both small and medium-sized enterprises and public administration bodies.

He has worked and played with the most classic Client/Server architectures with Cloud systems on Azure or AWS, up to high availability (HA) configurations. He has often been spotted in the company of the Guardia di Finanza, Police and Carabinieri, but each time he has returned home safe and sound. They say he has committed every computer crime you can imagine, and even those you cannot imagine, but always with the right authorisations and in the service of good. A contagious nerd: his passion for forensics is so overwhelming that when he starts ‘playing’, he manages to involve even complete strangers, dragging them into his world of bits and investigations.
